McGowan embraces being gigantic and he thinks it gives him a psychological edge
“It’s just a waiting game,” McGowan said. “All I can do at this point is pray. If it happens, it happens. If not, life goes on, and you’ve got to find something else.”
McGowan is a big man, even among NFL big men. He reckons his time in the league wouldn’t last longer than three to five years, an accomplished NFL career even for mere 300-pounders, whose weight can cause health problems.
Fortunately, he has a post-playing career already in mind.
“I feel like once that’s over with, the WWE Joakim Noah Authentic Jersey is calling my name”
The Amarillo, Texas, native wants to be a professional wrestler. He’s already talked to a “couple of people” in the industry who “said they might be interested and talked to me a little bit about the process and how stuff works.”
Colvin, a fourth-round pick in 2014, started 15 of 16 games with the Jaguars last season, and put up 73 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. He acknowledged the suspension on his Twitter account, making the following statement:
“I made a mistake and will take John Paxson Authentic Jersey responsibility for it. I apologize to my family, the Jaguars organization, especially my coaches and teammates, as well as the Jaguars fans for being supportive of me since I was drafted here in 2014. I will learn from this. I will grow from this. I will be a better man and player from this. I will not let this define me and I will overcome this. Thank you.”
Collins is the other big name on that list. The Falcons defensive back was taken in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft and played in all 16 games as a rookie. He recorded 17 tackles and made two starts.
“We are disappointed to hear the news regarding Jalen today,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said in a statement. “I have already spoken to Jalen about this, and I have no doubt this will be something that he will learn from.”
Collins was obviously a big part of Atlanta’s plans going forward, so this hurts the young player’s career significantly, at least in the short term.
Goodson was a sixth-round pick in 2014 and has just 11 tackles in 20 games played with the Packers.
Turzilli was an undrafted receiver out of Rutgers and was added to the Titans active roster in November of last season. He is notable for his strong Pro Day at Rutgers, running a 4.4-second 40-yard dash that turned heads and likely got the Titans interested. Turzilli dealt with injury concerns as a rookie, suffering a high-ankle sprain in training camp that limited his potential to cause an impact early in his career.
